Noraini Aripin

Noraini Aripin

Noraini holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.

She began her career at a medium size construction company in Kuala Lumpur prior to joining RHB Bank in 1995. At RHB Bank, she was entrusted in managing commercial loan portfolios. During her employment with RHB Bank, she acquired skills in sales and marketing, product development, financial and business analysis, customer services and risk management. After a stint of 9 years with RHB Bank, she took the opportunity to join the pioneer team of Credit Risk Management Department of Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd as a Senior Credit Analyst. This enabled her to enhance her analytical skills further with the additional Islamic banking knowledge to complement her conventional banking experiences. In 2009, she was scouted to join a development financial institution with trade finance as its core business in 2009 as Head of Business Department.

Mokhlis Maizan

Mokhlis Maizan

Mokhlis is a seasoned banker with more than 30 years of experience in financial services, both in conventional and Islamic banking. He holds a Master in Business Administration (International Trade) from the Laredo State University Texas, USA.

His banking experience spanned through the years with a few local and international financial institutions. He has served various senior management capacities – namely as Chief Business Officer of EXIM Bank Malaysia, Director & Head of Commercial Banking at Kuwait Finance House, General Manager and Head of Business at Bank Islam. Prior to this, he was in charge of the Trade Finance Division, where he successfully turnaround the division into one of the most profitable business unit in Bank Islam – and Head of Trade Finance at AmBank. He also gained international exposures during his employment with Standard Chartered Bank where he successfully centralized the trade finance operations and be the first Trade Finance bank to achieve an ISO 9002 Certification. His flair and experience in trade finance led to his role in assisting Citibank and ABN Amro Malaysia to set up their Transaction Banking Department.

Over the years, he has developed specialization in trade finance and services. With his invaluable knowledge, experience and skills in trade finance and services, he has been appointed as Chairman of the Banking Committee of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Malaysian Chapter since 2003. Amongst his notable contributions are being the Team Chairman for the UCP 500 revision task force of ICC Malaysia, and a panel member for ICC Experts for Documentary Credit Dispute Resolution (DOCDEX). He has been invited as a guest speaker at several Trade Seminars organized by Trade Associations, Chamber of Commerce and Banks.

Azrul Reza Aziz

Azrul Reza Aziz

Azrul holds Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical and Automotive) and MBA (Finance) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). An engineer turned investment banker, his background includes as the Head of Strategy and Planning with a large multi billion ringgit local conglomerate. His experience in financial industry was acquired during his employment in Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad and Kuwait Finance House. To date he has participated with various teams in the management of about RM20 billion worth of assets and funds originated from ASEAN, GCCs and Far East/Asia markets.
